What is Counselling?

Counselling is not giving advice to clients or telling people what to do - counselling sessions are an experience of a therapeutic relationship which offers the individual the space to explore their psychological distress, understand why they are hurting and what they need in their life to move forward and gain equilibrium once more.


The relationship between Counsellor and Client is unique and very much about the Counsellor truly listening, offering empathy and accepting the client for who they are in a non-judgemental way, with trust and respect at all times.
